Documenting the show for Cashback Music at the historic Ritz in Talladega, Alabama
This past two weekends, I have had the rare opportunity to document the band, CASHBACK. Working alongside my husband seems to be a rarity these days. I enjoy when I can be hired on as their photographer because it is not only personal for me, having my husband be their lead guitarist but also, I consider these guys dear friends of my husband and me.
I really have grown fond of live performance coverage over the years because there is so much potential in a theater setting. You have the energy of the band and audience, stage lighting, pre-show details and the ability to observe the show without needing to dicate or direct anything.
Everything is simply captured through observation, which is where, I personally feel, is my strength in the photography industry.
